Kacie Ellison

Kacie is dedicated and compassionate with a personal background in Family Law that uniquely positions her to advocate for families in Indiana. Her passion for the legal field began with her own experiences navigating custody battles as a child to being legally adopted as an adult which instilled in her a deep understanding of the emotional and legal complexities involved in family law.

She holds an Associate’s Degree in Legal Studies and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Ivy Tech. Currently, she is pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies at Indiana University Indianapolis, with plans to continue her education in law school. Her goal is to leverage her personal experiences to help Indiana families find peace and solidarity through the legal system.

Kacie began her legal career as a Summer Intern at the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, where she worked alongside Deputy Prosecuting Attorneys in the Special Victims Unit. This experience was pivotal in shaping her professional ethos, as she developed a strong sense of empathy, patience, and compassion while working on cases involving some of the most vulnerable members of the community.

Her commitment to equality and justice for all is unwavering. She is a passionate advocate for protecting civil liberties and human rights, believing wholeheartedly that everyone deserves fair and just treatment under the law. Her dedication to these principles drives her work and inspires her to continually seek ways to make a positive impact on the lives of those she serves.
